Weapon Defense

Our primary weapon is a single 26" stick.  Though many styles teach nunchucks, sai, bo staff, kama and other 'traditional' Karate weapons, we emphasis a weapon that you will find in most places  if needed in a hurry.

Short quick attacks with this weapon, especially to the vial area, will quickly diffuse an attacker and allow you to safely escape.  In place of a single stick can be substituted a cane (which you can legally even carry on a plain and most other public places), asp, or as in the Philippine arts of Modern Arnis, a knife.
