Personal Fitness

Although self-defense and ultimately self-empowerment are the goals of Atlanta Kyusho and Jujitsu, we also focus a portion of our training on personal fitness. Personal health and martial arts go hand in hand.

While in class and learning to defend yourself, you can also get a good workout.  Simple drills a student can do teaches the basics needed for martial arts fighting while working the mind and body.  In working the body a student will increase speed, muscle strength, and agility.

Also strength and agility are not necessary needed to be proficient in martial arts, it can  certainly enhance one's ability.    Speed is a factor that is key, and with training will come with practice.  "Be slow to be fast"
